Economists have noted that we are in the late stages of capitalism, and that it may be imploding. Scientists have noted that we are in the latter stages of planetary stability, and that the worst instabilities soon to befall us are just around the corner. There is tremendous beauty in this life, and there is chaotic destruction too. Will we find a way to overcome our most heinous tendencies? Will we be spared from our own self-inflicted doom? Late Stage Catastrophe may be thought of in relation to such questions, in the form of moving image impressions.
